It’s been said that journalism is the first rough draft of history. In today’s digital world, journalism looks very different from when Philip L. Graham popularized the phrase in the 1950s and 60s. 

My approach to journalism is to listen first, ask questions later. Everybody has a story to tell and being a freelance journalist allows me to build relationships with the unique people and places where those stories can emerge.
